From the Pages of the 'CHROMEBOOK' supplements for Cyberpunk 2020, these ultimate expressions of man-machine interface are some of the most powerful characters in the game. In Appleseed, cyborgs dont seem espacially faster than humans but they do seem stronger. Able to leap two or three stories vertically or crush a human skull with their bare hands. This plays out rather handilly in the Cyberpunk rule system where reflex boosters are the same for humans or 'borgs, but the strength of cyberarms can be cranked up pretty high with Linear Frame technology.
Combat borgs can be extremely well armored, almost as well as a LandMate in the upper ends. Though to moderate bulkiness, most are more subtly armored with something more equivalent to a riot armored cop. The real benefit of full conversion is that most of you is just a part. When you get shot up it's a day or two in the shop and you're back in the field. Some parts, like arms and legs, can be so modular that they have "quick change" mounts and can be swapped out with undamaged parts in moments.
Even non-combat full conversion 'borgs are extremely durable and tough. There are conversion bodies designed for pilots, deep sea exploration and even space!
