At the onset of U.C. 0075.05 The Appleseed Plan is introduced at a general meeting of United Nations (not revealed to general public yet, however)
U.C. 0079 The One Year War begins. Massive loss of human life results in advances in Bioroid Technology to replace vital workers and professionals. On the defense technology front, massive advances are made in Cyborg Technology on Earth, the Earth Federations eschews the bioroid tech for ideological reasons at first.
The island nation of Olympus is also the headquarters of The Flanagan Institute which is established in this year to investigate Espers. At the end of UC 0079 the Central Management Bureau of the Earth Federation and the Advanced technology Zaibatsu, Poseidon, Earths largest and most conglomerate super-corporation, jointly announce a plan for a thousand-year Government.
Olympus is the most advanced nation on Earth. Combined with multinational financial might of the Poseidon entity, they are the final hope for a united Earth govenrment and a victory over the technologically advanced Principality of Near Earth Orbit. Player characters who are to be involved with the important modern historical events that will shape the fate of mankinds future, will spend a lot of time in Olympus.
